About Us
IncuBabies is a volunteer-led registered charity in England that supports neonatal care for premature and sick babies on the Wirral.
What we do
• We raise money for Arrowe Park Hospital Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
• Funds go toward:
o Specialist medical equipment
o Improving hospital facilities
o Supporting staff training and development
Why we exist
• Neonatal units care for very premature or critically ill newborns, sometimes born as early as 23–24 weeks.
The charity also supports sick mothers who are in Arrowe Park hospital, so that they can stay near their babies.
• These units are expensive to run and often need extra funding beyond NHS budgets.
Impact
• The charity has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds, including a recent £300,000 contribution to refurbish the neonatal unit.
• We are entirely volunteer-run, meaning no paid staff—fundraising goes directly to improving care.

The Beginning
The charity was founded by people who had direct experience with neonatal care at Arrowe Park Hospital.
As parents of premature or sick children they have first hand experience of how vital neonatal care is, how emotionally and physically demanding it is for families and where extra funding could really make a difference.
