About Us
We provide safe spaces for children, teenagers and adults to unmask and be their true authentic selves.
We empower our members to believe in themselves and achieve their dreams.
We teach strategies to support difficult feelings, we invite everyone to be themselves and celebrate themselves.

The Beginning
Positivity Club CIC was first started during Covid 19 and was set up as safe space for children.
As a young child I struggled with my feelings and emotions and wore a constant smile/ mask I was worrier and never felt as though i truly belonged or fitted in. I found friendships difficult and would try to mould myself to be what I thought was socially acceptable. I had extremely low self esteem, no sense of self and as a result suffered with my mental health as I got older.
I was first diagnosed with anxiety and depression at 15. I created Positivity Club to help children like little me. I wanted talking about mental health to be fun for children and not something to avoid or shy away from so I created a series of workshops around the themes of self love, kindness, mindfulness, anger, self regulation, resilience and gratitude.
I believe and research supports this that children learn more when they are having fun so fun is at the heart of what we do. We do one-to-one interventions, small/ large group sessions, after school clubs and staff training.
We work with children as young as three right up to 16 and have an adults mental health support group too called Time for Tea. Our teen group is called Time for Teens.
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 35 years old and it was like a light bulb was switched on. This has driven me to ensure our sessions are neuro friendly and plan workshops to teach everyone more about neurodiverisity. we also have a strong passion for inclusion and diversity.
Our Bodies are Cool sessions celebrates every single human and our similarities and differences. We also have a Pride special where we celebrate love for all! We also do intergenerational sessions where we join forces with Boogie Woogie Music and Movement to visit nursing homes with the children and do lots of different activities to spark joy and encourage interaction across the ages - this is a firm favourite for everyone involved!
Although I have many
qualifications I always believe my best one is my lived experience
Fun is at the heart of what we do!
We don't fix, we hold space!
