Our focus is on guiding busy parents and first time buyers through the house buying and remortgage journey. We can also help in other situations too.
When you buy a house, there is so much more to factor in than just selecting the right mortgage (which is tricky enough).
We'll guide you through dealing with the various people you'll encounter such as solicitors, estate agents, surveyors, mortgage lenders, house valuers and insurance companies.
If you're self employed, this adds another dimension to a mortgage application as different lenders assess self employed applications in different ways depending on various factors such as:
• How your business is set up (e.g. sole trader/ Ltd Company).
• How long you've been trading
• Whether they use your net profit/ drawings/ dividends to assess your income
• Over what time frame do they need your trading figures (e.g. 1 or 2 years)
I have access to over 130 mortgage lenders and between them they have lots of different ways to assess your income, meaning more options for you to consider.

The Beginning
I've worked in the financial sector since 1986 when I left school and joined TSB on a Youth Training Scheme.
I qualified as a mortgage adviser in 2005 whilst working at NatWest and have also worked in 2 estate agencies as their mortgage adviser.
In 2019 I left an estate agency to become self employed and have built my client base since then through word of mouth and referrals.
Lots of experience (over 20 years) helping people in many different situations.
