The Queens Royal is a newly reopened, premium hospitality venue in the heart of New Brighton, combining heritage, quality, and community. Since reopening in July 2025, we have transformed a long-closed landmark into a vibrant restaurant, bar, and event destination.
We offer a high-quality dining experience with carefully curated menus, alongside a stylish bar atmosphere and regular live entertainment.

At the heart of The Queens Royal is The Elizabeth Suite, our private function space designed for memorable occasions including weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and community gatherings.

The Beginning
The Queens Royal is a historic venue in the heart of New Brighton, proudly reopened in July 2025 as part of the area’s ongoing regeneration.
After being closed for over five years, the venue has been carefully restored and reimagined into a modern, high-quality hospitality destination.
With over 40 years of family experience in the industry, The Queens Royal combines heritage with a fresh, contemporary vision.
The venue now operates as a restaurant and bar, alongside a private function space — The Elizabeth Suite — designed to host celebrations, events, and special occasions.
Looking ahead, the next phase of development will see the addition of boutique hotel rooms in Summer 2026, further establishing The Queens Royal as a key destination in New Brighton.
