The Beginning

Looking out for Liscard
Liscard Community Links CIC started in 2019, when a group of local residents came together with a simple idea – to look out for Liscard. Since then, we’ve grown into a resident‑led community caring action group, working side by side to make Liscard an even better place to live, work and visit.

We’re a team of friendly volunteers who give our time to support and encourage people in the community to get involved. We’re passionate about Liscard and love working together to support local activities, brighten up our area by “greening the grey”, and help lead positive, community‑led regeneration.

You’ll find our community café and hub Uni-Tea at Serpentine Family Church, where everyone is welcome. We’re open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, pop in for a chat, a cuppa, and to see what’s happening around our community. We pride ourselves on our friendly service, quality food and drinks.

We run on volunteer participation as our profits go back into to the community. We also run a pop up community shop in Liscard Cherry Tree Shopping Centre, we recycle unwanted clothes at affordable prices.

We run on volunteer participation, with profits invested back into the community.

Community led, with positive social impact and inclusive to all.

Volunteers matter, we value each other and our time, which is given to support projects by volunteering

Creating inclusive practice and support to individuals to volunteer
