About Us
New Brighton Creative Futures CIC runs and develops New Brighton’s OpenAIR Gallery, a growing collection of large-scale murals embedded in the streets of the Victoria Quarter.
We work directly with artists, property owners, and local partners to turn overlooked walls into cultural landmarks. The result is a year-round attraction that brings people into the area and supports independent businesses.
Our role is to make this work sustainable. We protect and maintain existing murals, raise funds for restoration, and commission new pieces that reflect local stories and talent.
This is not temporary or decorative. It is a practical model for place-led regeneration, driven by culture, with visible impact on footfall, perception, and community pride.

The Beginning
The Beginning
New Brighton Creative Futures CIC exists to protect and build on a cultural shift that started on the streets.
The transformation began when Daniel Davies and Rockpoint Leisure restored derelict buildings in the Victoria Quarter and invited artists to paint them. Murals brought colour, character, and attention back to a neglected part of town. People came to see the art and stayed to support local cafés, shops, and venues. The area found its voice again.
We were set up to pick up that baton. The work is now about making sure it lasts.
We protect the murals as a shared cultural asset, preserve them against weather and time, and commission new pieces that keep the gallery alive and relevant. The aim is simple: keep the streets active, the stories visible, and the impact real for the local economy and community.
A permanent OpenAIR Gallery embedded in the street, free to access and active all year round
Proven impact on footfall and local trade by turning overlooked spaces into destinations
End-to-end stewardship: we protect, preserve, and commission murals to keep the gallery alive long term
