The Beginning
I created Ujima because growing up, I didn’t see African culture celebrated in everyday products… and I wanted to change that for my children, and for the next generation.
Ice cream is the perfect way to do it.
It’s familiar, indulgent, and allows us to introduce something new in a way that feels accessible and exciting.
